Chalk me up as another who is waiting for some kind of digital download. I was very tempted to get the physical copy but it's too much of a risk with my long driveway and neighbourhood (I've had stuff go missing before).

I'll also probably end up buying half the games on the Mamba website once there is digital download service. I think for games like these, with very particular audiences, digital downloads are a godsend.

Still no digital download news from Mamba on their site and no response from Jason over email. This is my sad face.

I have credit card in hand and a burning desire to give Ice Pick my money, but no way of doing so. Football Manager 10 continues to loom on the horizon (digital download available Friday) and now I see that Torchlight is available on Steam and will unlock in five hours.

Is a redname able to say whether Void will follow Pathologic onto Gamers Gate? Or give a solid ETA for Mamba's download portal opening?

This void of information, (do you see what I did there?), is making it very difficult to ignore the devil on my shoulder who whispers buy Torchlight... and Friday is FM day... in my ear while I sleep and it's going to cost Ice Pick one sale, (which I'm sure will bring the whole company down).

Hey guys, I've been lurking around here for a bit, slowly building excitement for The Void. Frustrated with the lack of news on the Mamba digital download site I emailed Mamba yesterday and received the following reply this morning:

If you order on our website for a full copy we are offering free delivery,
so you will pay the same for a physical copy as a download. We are hoping to
have everything running by November, I would urge you to order directly from
the website for £19.99. This will be your best option at the moment.

I hadn't realized that the free shipping to the U.S. is still active (what a deal!), so I just ordered the physical copy. It probably won't get here until November, true, but now at least I'll have something to look forward to in the mail.

Mines arrived today and is being installed as I type this.
Was perplexed at the Bonus options as well (until I read the earlier posts here) but these are hopefully the same (or even more!) as the original bonus disc that was posted as a torrent here some time ago.

One ultra rare thing though was to find it with a full colour manual as well! :shock:


EDIT: Just had a quick go on it. Awesome architecture. The RUN button doesn't seem to do anything though, or is it intentionally meant to be a slow walk anyway?
There is no DRM on the disc (Just like Pathologic. Hurrah!) so that gets a thumbs up from me.
Voice acting of the Sister so far is very good. Lip syncing not so good, but I'm not overly bothered with that.
At some point I will have a read through the manual, and maybe even start playing it!
Oh, and on Win7 the game still shows up as 'Tension' in the game explorer. LOL.

Thanks for the clarification LxR (slighty odd typing that as they're my initials... just without the x)

Not even the slightest chance of a hint on what the next project is? Go onnnn.... Just a little one :D

It's got to be said as well, the people at Ice-Pick, really should be commisioned as architects for the Olympic games in London. I'd go along to them if the stadia were designed by you guys! :D

Indeed, there had occured a leak of official information. It was disclosed then that in our next project there are going to be no pink rabbits.

As for the bonus disc - yes, it was (unfotunately?) the same as in Russian release, 2008. It seems we only removed some Nickolai Dybowsky speeches. But they were in Russian anyway, so I am sure most of you won't feel bad about them gone... :)

Dear All,

Sorry for the lack of postings but we have been active and busy getting our releases for next year sorted.... keep posted as there are some MASSIVE products coming our way on the adventure scene, hopefully to be announced in the next 2 weeks. We decided that we are going to keep FREE DELIVERY on all products until further notice. It i sonly fair that the consumer buying pays what they pay in retail, so free delivery is still happening no matter how many games you buy. Thank you to my boss :lol:

With regards to the bonus materials, the master versions we were supplied were exactly the master versions that were duplicated - we are in dialogue with the company anyway with regards to this. Maybe a cool special edition version with 2 discs is an option :) with additional extras......

All stock has left our warehouse but due to the postal strikes by the dozen it can take some time to get to you ( I heard that there was a PS in USA also?)

I believe there is a typo on the back of the cover as well. Or at least one word typed twice. :lol:

Well, there are some words here and there written in mixture of german and english. :)

Also, do you make a habbit of smelling manuals? :lol:
