First of all, I want to say thank you to IPL for creating this masterpiece. I'm middway through day 2, and a little lost, but I'm working my way through it with the help of the walkthrough.

That being said, I'm having a small issue that causes the game to crash whenever I get near some of the "mystery" locations in the game (like the polyhedron and the abattoir). It's happened twice so far and I'm worried that when the time comes to actually visit these places I won't be able to continue. Help!

This is a strange bug indeed, because technically there is nothing special about these locations. Besides, the models are loaded way before you actually see them coming out of the fog.
Could you please provide your engine.log from /bin/Final/ folder the next time you encounter this bug. exception.txt also is somewhere among the files. Only do it after the crash, because the log is rewritten each time you launch the game.

My assumption is that something in your data files or savegame is corrupted; so the game tries to load an object and fails to do so (either the data is corrupted or the savegame has "wrong" identifier that doesn't correspond to any real game object).

strange. it didn't happen that time (it was the apiary where it happened, btw). the strange thing about the bug is it only happened the first time I went near each place, but never again. Oh well. I was planning to start over anyway, so I'll just reinstall the game before I do.
