Ive read some reviews for this game and they both excite me and turn me off of this game. The concept and execution over all sound phenomenal, and the only thing holding me back at this point is the idea of your color draining over time. I like to experience games at my own pace, and playing with a time limit has prevented me from enjoying other great games like dead rising and pikmin. Is there any chance of a demo so I could get a feel for the game without dropping twenty bucks?

I am afraid, not. On the other hand, our publisher has released German demo. To get the basics you may watch this user's Let's Play:
http://www.viddler.com/explore/CannibalK9/videos/14/
(he is going to pick it up in January)
It is in English, so you are sure to understand what all these characters want from you.

I don't know anything about English demo, and it seems unlikely to appear all of a sudden.

Time limit doesn't seem very restrictive to me, yet many players say that the game is hard, which might very well be the case... However, if you love exploring game's levels there is no need to worry. The time flows only on the world map where you travel from one chamber to another. You may spend inside any particular "level" as much time as you wish.

And my Longplay: http://www.youtube.com/user/Throdax

It is from the original Russian version, but the concept is the "same".

Im not to concerned with difficulty, I enjoy trudging my way through a difficult game if it is good. I'm extremely intrigued by this game, but I just don't really have money to spare unless I know I'm going to like it. As much as I hate to say it I might end up pirating this game, and if I'm enjoying it after the first hour or so Ill buy the game. Believe me if I intend on playing the game in its entirety i will buy it. while I occasionally Pirate Triples A title like MW2, I'm completely uncomfortable stealing games from small indie developers. I did this same thing with Machinarium and ended up buying it. I genuinely hope I enjoy this game, I'm excited to see a developer willing to innovate and take risks.

A reference to the recent Team Fortress 2 Soldier vs. Demoman war event?

Anyhow, I think The LxR brought up piracy as an alternative way to demo the game on another forum. In my book, all that matters is that the creative folks behind the game get properly compensated for their efforts. If you're leaning towards a no-buy without giving the game a try, not pirating doesn't help with that in the least.

Also, you could look at the purchase as purely rewarding innovation and risk-taking from smaller developers. That's basically what I did when I pre-ordered World of Goo. The game wasn't worth $20 bucks to me, but supporting the folks behind it was.

Well the Torrents at 80%. I'd say its pretty likely i'm buying it at this point. Even if the game is too hard for me Ive heard some mention of cheats. Just experiencing the story and world created here is well worth 20$
