Since it's taking ND Games or someone else in the chain between us and Steam some time to fix the issue with missing shader cache, here's a hotfix you can install yourself.

ISSUES ADDRESSED

- Fixes occasional stuttering, for example during flower pickup.
- General significant performance boost

Savegames remain compatible.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
========================================

1) Download the archive. 7-zip can be openned with http://www.7-zip.org/
http://www.thelxr.info/thevoid_steam_cache.7z

2) Open Shared Documents > My Games > Void

3) Extract the contents of the archive, so that the Cache folder is in the Void folder, and overwrite any existing files if necessary.

4) You're good to go!

I noticed when I play the game it slightly stutters every few steps, regardless of graphic settings. Will this fix that?

Check the folder mentionned in the installation instructions - if there aren't 80 MB of files in the Cache folder - then it will.

It fix's stuttering.. I have no problems anywhere in the game exept in ole's chamber.. would that also fix her chamber? Her chambers seems to Stutter/freeze up a little, same for when talking with her. (I think someone addressed that befor)
