I've been wondering... can the Brothers steal Color in any and all forms? Shortly after the first few showed up, Mantid went over to the Heathen reservation and started taking the Color from it, but I had just been there, had harvested the couple of trees I'd planted and planted a few new ones. In fact, I'd been wondering in what forms the supposed Color there (apparently a whole ton of amber, in my case) existed, since it was showing up on the tooltip. There were a couple fireflies and that's a place with one of those summoner thingees, which I've never really used. Does the game count Color that can be obtained from those in the tooltips on the worldmap, and can the Brothers take color in those forms?

Brothers take colour is all forms, except unopened mine veins.

The tooltips count everything in the chamber, trees, mines, plants, creatures, etc

So... when a Brother is currently "pillaging" a chamber, is that chamber inaccessible? Is the only way to stop them from taking your color to either get to the chamber before them or power a trap?

Pretty much. although I suspect that if you are fast enough you could challenge them with the blasphemer glyph(orealion or something like that?) while they are munching on your hard earned colour. a dead brother can't suck colour but I've not tried this so I could be utterly wrong. It also would cost you buckets of Nerva in the battle though so it may not be worth the effort.

I tried it once, (to access a chamber while the brother is on it), and I had a cutscene where the brother told me something like "go now, we'll talk later of what I have found here"

Hey, more problems, this one's probably some glitch or maybe you're not supposed to be able to do it.

The thing is that I'm full, I still have to beat Montgolfier and Tyrant, the rest are history ;) (damn Ironclad, that one was tough)
BUUUT both of them are standing on sister's chamber, without doing nothing, and i can't challenge them.

When I am over them, i click on the RMB until their face appears and enter the chamber, but no matter what I do, I ALWAYS end up entering the chamber and not challenging the brother.
The thing is, that I was able to challenge Mantid while he was interrogating, so why I can't do it now!?

Someone had this problem???

Cheers!

You can't challenge Montgolfier to a duel because, among other things, he's your mentor. If other Brothers are consuming color and you try to enter their node, they won't let you enter but you can choose to fight them if you know how.

I would like to know how to challenge brothers who are roaming the map and not really doing anything. I can only fight brothers if they attack first, or if I try to enter a node where they're busy, or if I go to their "home" while they're on the world map. When I finished the game, Tyrant was left because I just didn't know what I should do to attack him.

I think you can always challenge them if you go to their homes.

What about the two that don't have homes?

Of the two brothers that don't have home chambers, you can challenge Tyrant if he is drinking up all your color, but Montgolfier will allow you to enter rooms even while he is draining them, so you can interrupt him and take the remaining color for yourself (and it is not as important to be able to challenge him).
